Rose Gold Glitter Liner & Violet/ Magenta Lips

I was intrigued by all the glittery and colorful looks that a lot of YouTubers were putting up for Coachella 2017 weekend. I also decided to do a colourful look with glitter, of course a look that is much more wearable. So, I paired a bright & colourful violet lip with rose gold glitter liner. I know, nothing ground breaking about it, but, I liked how it turned out.

It is quite a simple look that anybody can create to suit his/ her favourite products. All you need is your favourite bright lipstick and favourite glitter with some neutral matte shades.

For matte brown neutral eye shadows, I used my trusty Viseart Neutral Matte Palette and for shimmer on lids I used Makeup Geek pigment in Afterglow, and New Year's Eve in the inner corner and as brow bone highlight. New Year's Eve has very fine gold glitter which looks amazing in person and glimmers beautifully in sunlight.

I kept the base simple with Marc Jacobs Coconut Primer and Armani Lasting Silk Foundation in shade 6.5. To hide my dark circles I used Tarte Shape Tape Concealer and to set the base in place I used Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

I contoured my cheeks and nose slightly with Cover FX Custom Cover Drops in Sunset. For my blush I used Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in shade Bittersweet and used Becca Shimmer Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop as cheekbone highlighter to maintain the violet and rose gold theme and I royally forgot to include them in the photo below, so, I have included snaps of these products from my archives. Glitter liner was using Lit Cosmetics glitter Oprah and couple of coats of Tarte's Maneater mascara.

Violet lips are M.A.C. lippencil in Magenta and Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet in Brilliant Violet No. 45.

Here are few more shots of the look

Though, I liked how this turned out, I would do it slightly differently next time. I will notch up the look a bit more by adding Afterglow pigment in the inner third of lower lashline topped with matching champagne gold glitter (I am thinking about Champagne Wishes from Lit Cosmetics) and pat some Afterglow pigment in the middle of my lips for a poutier look. I realised this after I saw the pictures and of course these steps would make this look a lot more bold and out there, but, I am sure it would look pretty.

I hope you guys liked this make-up look.

Lots of Love,
