Review: Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder

Hey Guys,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

I discovered this Chanel Natural Finish Lose powder last year in June when my trustee Dior Skin Nude Natural Glow Powder got over. When I was searching for a setting powder, I wanted to try something new for setting my foundation but did not want a powder that gives flat matte face. Once I was just randomly watching favorites videos on YouTube, I saw Lisa Eldridge and NikkieTutorials recommend this powder. What better recommendation one needs. So, I decided to give Chanel Natural Finish Lose Powder a try and I have been wearing it non stop ever since I got. When, I researched more about this powder, I realized it has very shades (I hate Chanel for limited shade range) and was really worried if would about getting a proper shade match. I got lucky and got matched to shade Translucent 3 #40.

The Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder gives me the most perfect satin finish, which sets the like-up like no body's business, improves the longevity of the foundation and keeps the oil at bay through the day. It's even better than my Dior powder (which actually was a powder foundation) in improving longevity foundation and oil control. When I looked at it very closely, I found it has micro-mini light reflecting particles that helps blur out the imperfections such as fine lines and pores (large pores to a small extent) for a beautiful satin finish which is not flat looking. It's a translucent powder with just a tint and no coverage, so, if you are looking for a powder with some coverage, this is not for you. You also apply it over your moisturizer if you are blessed with flawless skin. I apply it all over my face, except, under my eyes. I need very little amount to cover my entire face. I use my Chanel No. 1 Powder Brush with this powder.

The powder comes in a transparent plastic tub, with a sifter and a powder puff, which is incredibly soft. However, I prefer using a brush than a puff for a natural finish.

Price: INR 3100.00 for 30gms of product, which is HUGE (caps intentional) as a little goes a long way. For mere a translucent setting powder it's pricey but considering the quantity of product, it will not be pricey in the long run.

Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a new translucent setting powder.

So, lets go ahead and see how the product actually looks like.

EDIT: Here is the before and after pic. In the before pic, I am wearing my new Chanel Vitalumiere Foudation in B40. As you can see, my T zone looks quite shiny, but, with the Chanel Natual Finish Loose Powder, the shine is much more contained and my face is not flat matte.

You guys have seen me wearing this powder several times in my various previous posts. So, go check it out babes. However, do let me know in the comments below, if you want to see a before and after photo. I took one today, but, the picture wasn't really showing how pretty it looks in real life. But, if you guys still wish I will update the post.

Hope the review was helpful!

    1. Hi Jigisha.. Yeah, I really liked the packaging. Chanel could be little troublesome to carry because of its size. And agree the product is lovely :-D

  3. It is one of my favorite powders. Although sometimes I find it accentuates dry skin.
