Make-up & Skincare HAUL!

Hey Guys

I indulged in some makeup and skin care shopping and also got some stuff from USA. I really wanted to share the stuff with you guys and also thought, you guys would be interested in a haul video.

Stuff mentioned in the video:
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid in Sunkissed
Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder in #40 Dorè - Translucent 3
Lancôme L'Absolu Velour Intense Lipcolor in Velours de Grenade
Lancôme L'Absolu Rouge SPF12 - No. 132 Caprice
Urban Decay Naked III Palette
Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Graffiti
MAC Eye Shadow in Brown Script

With the Chanel stuff the SA was so generous to give me a sample of Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation in #50. I LOVED the finish of this foundation, which is so smooth and feels like velvet. #50 is too pink for my skin, which you can notice in the picture below. My neck and face do not match. What do guys suggest? Have you tried this foundation? If you are NC40 in MAC foundations, which shade do you use?

Hope you enjoyed my first ever haul video. Let me know what else would you like to see other than my regular tutorials.

Lots of Love

Review: Laura Mercier Cavier Stick Eye Shadow Pencil - Amethyst

Hey Guys

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

Laura Mercier Cavier Stick Eye Shadow Pencils are not new in the market, but, I could have had my hands on it only now. I bought the shade Amethyst, which is a beautiful shimmery mauvy taupe shade.

Cavier Stick Eye Shadow Pencils come in twist up retractable pencils. The pencil has signature LM brown packaging with a small cap like thing at the end which is the same color as the pencil. I really like this simple and slick packaging which is great to carry around.

This pencil has an extremely creamy texture which is very light weight and doesn't budge or fade throughout the day. When I say throughout the day, I mean it. I took it to the weddings that I had been to during the first fortnight of May, and this was the only 'eye shadow' that I took as it was horribly hot there. I used to apply it all over the lids and slightly blending it in the crease and it would not crease or fade at all through out the day!

I also like using it as a base under my Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Fauve, which is like a perfect combo. I wearing this same combo in the FOTD.

Price: USD 26.00 for 0.05 oz.

Overall, Laura Mercier Cavier Stick Eye Shadow Pencil in Amethyst is a great product which is worth trying, and I am sure one will not be disappointed.

Lipstick worn is Lancôme Rouge in Love Lipstick in Miss Coquelicot #146B
I hope you guys found the review helpful. Have your used LM Cavier Stick Eye Shadow Pencils? Which is your favorite shade. I would love to try some more of these.

Lots of Love

Played with make-up in over a month!

Hey Guys

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

Wow, it's more than a month I posted here! If you are following me on Twitter and Facebook, you would probably know what was going! Earlier in the month I was away for two weeks to attend a few family functions and immediately after I returned we took up minor renovation and painting work in our house. I am now going to buying home decor stuff, of course gradually. So, if you guys know about some really good home decor blogs or websites or if you have some cool home decor ideas and some cool home decor shops, then do share with me.

Now, that the house is almost set and majority of things are in order, I played with make-up and did this look today. When I started doing the look, I had no idea what I was gonna do, but when completed, it turned out to be a nice contrast of warm and cool toned colors. I really liked how the cool toned lips pop against the warm colors on the rest of my face.

I must also tell you about the mascara mishap here. I realized all my mascara tubes are dried only when I had to use, so, my lashes look really off here. I am sorry for that but I really wanted to share this look with you guys.

The copper liner on my upper lash line is Copper Sparkle pigment from MAC Cosmetics and on my lips I have Pink Pigeon lipstick with my trusty Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Moisture, again from MAC Cosmetics.

Let me know in the comments below, how do you like the look with contrast colors and wish to see a tutorial of this look.

Lots of Love
