Review: YSL Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils Shocking - Felt Tip Eye Liner Pen

Hey Guys,

Hope you guys are happy and healthy.

Dramatize your look with a shocking and unique new style. Effortless and precise, Effet Faux Cils Felt Tip Eyeliner draws a precise black line with ultimate intensity. Its calligraphy-like tip and water based formula glides on smoothly for easy application and the carbon black pigment ensures you get the blackest black color! 12-hour wear. No flaking. Water resisting.

You guys might have seen me using this liner in my several videos and posts. This YSL Liner is everything that you want from your liner to be. Its dark, smudge proof, long lasting and easy to apply. The color is dark black with a slight sheen to it. It doesn't flak or fade over the day or smudge however hard you rub your eyes. The felt tip is a sponge tip applicator, that is just rightly stiff for a thin as well as thick liner. This pen is also great for drawing graphic lines, that are in trend these days. I have this pen for more than 7 month now and it hasn't shown any signs of drying. This applies as fresh as it was new. The felt tip liner pen makes it easy to carry around. I especially love it carry it around whenever I travel.

Price: INR 1800.00, may seem heavy on pocket, but this is every penny worth it, especially for how fresh it is even after 7 months of regular use.

Overall, if you are looking for a long lasting dark black liner, that is not flat matte black but with a slight sheen, felt tip flexible enough for a thin as well as thick liner and graphic liner, easy to carry around and liner that would not dry up in few months after making a whole in your pocket.

I hope you found the review helpful.

Have a lovely weekend.

Lots of Love,

  5. My friend Jigisha has been suggesting this for the longest time. I loved your review and I am going to give it a try. Due to my Dystichia I cannot see my lash line at times but lets see how this one fares. I have used it on clients and it looks really dark and stays put longer. Only complaint is the felt tip that is too delicate and could bend easily. I request you to do an update post on how this liner lasted and when did it dry...
    Thanks a ton

    1. Thanks Neeraj. Yeah, I will update this post, may be, in a couple of months. But, now after 6-7 months of regular use, it's going strong.
