Review: Dior Le Vernis in Rouge Massai - Massai Red

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

#853 Rouge Massai or Massai Red is a dark red that is neither too warm nor not too cool, just the right dark Red. While Chanel Dragon is a vibrant and bright true red, Rouge Massai is darker and more intense in color.

The formula of Rouge Massai is creamier than my Dior Blue Label and more similar to Dior Nirvana and flows easily through the bed of the nail without dragging or being goopy. It's color pay off is also awesome, delivers almost 99% the color in the bottle in single coat. Super shiny and give my nails a very luxurious feel.

Dior polishes come in sturdy glass bottle with a pull of silver cap. I love the packaging of Dior polishes, its simple and very sophisticated. The brush has a curved tip, which almost takes the shape of root of the nail, and is broader which makes the application much easier.

Price: INR 1650/- for 10 ml of product.

Overall, if you are ready to spend a bomb on a nail polish and are not shy of wearing red nail polishes, do give it a try. You will love it.

I hope you all found the review helpful and liked the color. Have you tried Dior nail polishes? Which is your favorite shade?

Have a wonderful week ahead.

Lots of Love

Video: Copper and Orange Medley

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

This look is a medley of oranges, copper and burgundy to smoke out a little bit. This is quite a dramatic look and you can decide for yourself a suitable occasion to sport this look.

In the video the part where I applied the Copper Sparkle pigment on lids did not get recorded. Actually, the file got corrupted for this part. I have no clue why this happened. It was a file of about 12 mins duration and post 8 mins or so, it was corrupt. So, it was recorded to my understanding, but, actually it did not. My sincere  apologies for this mishap.

Video: Burgundy Smokey Eyes for Fall

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

I did this look inspired by fall colors. Burgundy is one shade that always reminds of Fall and hence I thought why not do a smokey eyes look using this lovely shade. I have used mainly matte eye shadows with a pop of shimmer under the brows and in the tear duct. Since the eyes are so dramatic, I decided to keep the rest of the look very natural.

Review: MAC Lipglass in 'Lust for Life' from Indulge Collection for Fall

Hello Everyone

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

First and foremost, thanks a ton for an amazing response on my video tutorials. I am so glad that you are liking the videos as much you liked my picture tutorials. I hope to continue to make more videos and entertain you and help a bit in your make-up. Also, I look forward to your valuable suggestions to improve the quality of videos and also your requests, if any, for videos. I will be more than happy to hear on these two aspects.

Now, coming to the current subject. MAC recently launched the Indulge collection in India and just before proceeding for Diwali vacations, I picked couple of eye shadows and a lip gloss from the collection.

Lust for Life is a lovely berry/ plummy red color with fuchsia and ruby shimmer. I love how opaque this lip gloss is, however, no completely opaque, but translucent. MAC Lipglasses are infamous for being stick, this, however is an exception and is not as sticky. In terms of longevity also, it performed better than a typical MAC Lipglass. So, in nutshell a winner in all respects.

Price: INR 990/-

Here are a few pictures of the lipglass and me wearing this Lipglass:

This was a limited edition and sold out very fast. When I picked up mine the MAC Store at R City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai had the last piece. So, I am not sure if it still available.

What are your picks from the Indulge collection? I also picked up two eye shadows, Divine Decadence and Sex and The Oyster.

I hope you all liked the lipgloss and found the review helpful.

Lots of Love
