Hope you all are happy and healthy.
When I saw Nikkie of NikkieTutorials wearing this amazing red lip color in her several videos, I decided I wanted this product. This is a Pro product from MAC and is available only at Pro Stores.
A highly pigmented opaque cream used to mix and customize lipstick, to create any color, texture or look desired for lipcolor. Contains soothing emollients to help condition the lips. Available in wide range shades in Crème texture.
Crimson is described by MAC as dark blackened red.
I just loved this product for it's pigmentation, long wearing properties and it's versatility of use. It can be used on its own, mixed with another shades to create different shades, as a base under a red lipstick or mix it with little bit clear gloss for lacquered lips. I used it under Ruby Woo and it was bang on there. I have seen world famous celebrity Make-up Artist Lisa Eldridge using it with Ruby Woo recently on models for a shoot.
The finish of lipmix is matte but not drying. It stays forever, even after a sumptuous meal. On me it lasted the whole day, more than 8+ hours. It did not fade, bleed or move from its place. I think this will be a great product for brides and the coming festive season in India when you don't want to miss the mouth watering delicacies because of your make-up or worry about reapplying/ retouching lipstick after a meal!
It comes in a lot of shades, the next shade that I want to try is Fuchsia, which is just too good of a shade to miss.
It comes a transparent plastic tube which is quite convenient to locate the shade. You will definitely need a precise lip brush to apply this product. This could be a cause of inconvenience to many who like to apply there lipsticks directly from the bullet. I generally squeeze a tiny bit of product on the back of hand and apply using a my Lancôme lip brush. I sometimes also squeeze tiniest amounts directly on the brush and blend. I usually outline my lips with MAC Lip Pencil in Cherry to have more control.
Price: INR 950/-

I hope you all found the review helpful and liked the shade. I cannot wait to try the Fuchsia shade. Have you tried lip mixes? Which is your favorite shade? Do share your thoughts with this pro product with me in the comments below.
Have a lovely week ahead.
Lots of Love
