Tutorial: Smoked Olive Makeup Look

Hello Everyone

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

I did this look just before leaving for the vacation. I love MAC Sumptuous Olive eye shadow and while going through my stash for packing make-up for the vacation, I thought why not do a look using this lovely eye shadow. This is a very wearable kind of smokey look that can be worn at any occasion and a great look for beauties with warm skintone.

List of Products I used to create the look:
Face:

  • Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Foundation
  • MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC42 + Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder #2 for under eyes
  • MAC Studio Finish Concealer NC42
  • MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natrual in Medium Dark
  • Nars Bronzer in Laguna
  • Nars Blush in Gina
  • Nars highlighter in Albatross
Eyes:
  • MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
  • Estèe Lauder Double Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Precious Jade
  • MAC Eyeshadows: Sumptuous Olive, Mulch, Make Your Mark, Woodwinked, Shroom & Solar White
  • Urban Decay 24/7 eyepencil in Zero
  • Maybelline the Falsies Mascara
Lips:
  • MAC So Chaud (dabbed very lightly)
  • Estèe Lauder Gloss in Sugar Rush
Step by Step Tutorial :

  • Step 1: Primed my lids using MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
  • Step 2: Applied Estèe Lauder Double Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Precious Jade on the lids and blended it using MAC 217 brush.
  • Step 3: Applied Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Zero on the upper lash line and blended it using MAC Pro Long-wear eye shadow in Make Your Mark into the 'outer V' using MAC 219 brush.
  • Step 4: Applied MAC eye shadow in Mulch in the crease using MAC 217 brush
  • Step 5: Applied Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Zero in the water lined and blending it out between the lashes in the outer corners.
  • Step 6: Smoked out the lower lash line using MAC eye shadow in Make Your Mark and Mulch using MAC 219 brush

  • Step 7: Highlighted the brows using MAC Shroom eye shadow.
  • Step 8: Applied MAC Sumptuous Olive eye shadow on the lids using MAC 239 brush
  • Step 9: Applied MAC eye shadow in Woodwinked in the inner third of the lower lash line using a small angled brush
  • Step 10: Applied Maybelline the falsies mascara. Prior to applying mascara I highlighted the inner corners using MAC Solar White eye shadow. Finished the look by filing the brows using MAC Brun eye shadow with MAC 266 brush.

Hope you all liked the look. Do share with me in the comments below.

Lots of Love
