Review: Nars Blush in Luster

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

Love that natural peachy glow that can make you look sun kissed, Nars Luster is for you. Described as "Sheer Golden Apricot", it's a sheer apricot-peach blush with fine gold shimmer.

Its a no fuss blush which pairs really well with bright lips or smokey eyes and looks amazing on warm and olive skin tones. This is the kind of blush when you want a look which doesn't look like "Oh hello! I am wearing a blush today!". I love pairing this blush with smokey eyes and red lips. Whenever I see this blush I feel that this blush is made for a red lip day!

Amazing texture which is buttery smooth and you need a tiny amount to get it going. However, on my tanned skin it is like barely there. It hardly shows up, but, imparts a lovely warm glow. I love how well it stays put on me, without fading or moving.

Price: INR 29.00 for 48 grams.

Overall, its a lovely blush when you want a barely there touch of blush when you are wearing a smokey eye or a bright lip. May not show up well on darker / deeper skin tones, though.

  3. I would call this blush as understated elegance. What a lovely color. Is it a bit like Mac trace gold.
