Review: Chanel Glossimer in Crushed Cherry - Pictures, Swatches and FOTD

Hello Everyone

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

Revelation de Chanel Collection has some stunning shades in glossimers, all of them with punch of shimmer and glitter, except Crushed Cherry. Except for a few, including this one, most of the glossimers are very sheer. Crushed cherry is a very bold and dark reddened berry shade with million dollar shine.

I love how nicely pigmented this gloss is. However, not as pigmented as my Chanel Jalousie (see here). Two layers give a lovely berry red shade, but not as same as how it looks in the tube. If you layer more it becomes goopy and loses its beauty.

I also liked how long wearing this gloss is. It stayed for solid 5 hours on me with a couple of cups of tea & coffee in between. Like my other Chanel lip glosses this was also very moisturizing and kept my lips moisturized through out the day. So far I have tried this gloss on its own and with MAC lip liner in Nightmoth for a vamp look (see here).

I consider this a great shade for Fall/ Winter. Love Love Love this gloss to the core. If you haven't tried this gloss yet, go and have a look, you will not be disappointed. There are a few friends of mine and a few bloggers internationally, who did not like this lip gloss on them, so I would recommend you try it in the store before buying.

It comes in classic Chanel plastic tube packaging with black cap and gold strip, which is very elegant and classic.

Price: INR 1700/- for 5.5 gms of product.

Overall, I loved this gloss a lot, for its pigmented and long wearing formula. Worth the splurge.

Here are few pictures and swatches of the product:

I hope you all liked the lip gloss and the review helpful. Have you tried any gloss from Revelation de Chanel collection? Do share with in the comments below.

Have a lovely week ahead.
