Following the rage - Hot Pink Lips & Nails

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

I have been missing from action lately. The only reason was lack of inspiration. I think sometimes you need a real kick on your a** to get yourself moving. The 'Hot Pink' shade which is a rage lately gave me that inspiration or that kick.

Hot Pink is 'the color' of this season. A lot of YT Beauty Gurus and bloggers are posting about hot pink lips, their favorite way to wear and their favorite hot pink lipsticks. So, I also decided to do a look and share some of my favorite products that are 'hot pink' and how I pair eye makeup with hot pink lips. To know more, continue to read!

The two 'hot pink' products that I am loving lately are Chanel Glossimer in Jalousie and L'oreal Le Vernis in Insolent Magenta and really like pairing them together. I have really been enjoying these products lately and wearing them a lot. I have reapplied this same nail polish for 4 times back to back now and I am wearing this very same lipgloss everyday for like more than 10-12 days. I like these products for their brightness and how glamourous they make the whole look. I think these are going to be great during gloomy days in Monsoons in Mumbai to elevate your mood and also are great for summers elsewhere in the world. And, hence I thought why not share the products and a look with these products with you all.

Chanel Jalousie and L'oreal Insolent Magenta
Whenever I wear such bright lips I prefer my eyes and cheeks to be natural, however, this time I have used a bright pink blush, but, used it sparingly to just get a rosy glow. I have kept the eyes very simple with smudged line that is slightly winged out. I have done a look earlier with hot pink lips using MAC Girl About Town lipstick, which you can see here.

Here is the list of products that I used to create the look:

Face:
  • Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation #40 (review here)
  • MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC 42
  • MAC Prolongwear Concealer in NC 42
  • Diorskin Nude Lose powder #40
  • MAC Blush in Dollymix (review here)
  • MAC Bronzer in Refined Golden
  • Estee' Lauder Powder Gelee in Modern Mercury
Eyes:
  • UD Primer Potion
  • MAC Eyeshadows: Swiss Chocolate, Vanilla, Naked Pigment
  • Dark plum shade from Coastal Scents 28 neutral eyeshadow palette to blend the liner on upper lash line
  • UD 24/7 eye pencil in Zero and Inglot Kohl
  • Chanel eye pencil Clair
  • Maybelline Falsies Mascara
Lips:
  • Chanel Lip liner in Fuchsia
  • Chanel Glossimer in Jalousie
Here are some more pictures & swatches of products and the look:

Ok, I think, that was enough of hot pinkness for the moment. I hope you all liked the look and the hot pink products.

Which are your favorite shades currently and are you also flowing with the rage of 'hot pink' shade this season? Do share your with me in the comments below.

Have a lovely week everyone.

Lots of Love
