A wearable everyday green eye makeup tutorial

Hello Everyone

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

Summer is the season for popping bright eye makeup. I love those edgy colorful eye makeup looks that trend during summers on blogosphere and YouTube. The look that I am sharing today has a popping green shade on the lids but yet it's very wearable anytime during the day and great for this season. I have paired the green eyes with pink lips and cheeks. So, to know how to get this look, keep reading ...

Before I list the products I used to create the look, I want to say that you don't have to have the exact same products to create this look. It's just the guideline to get more use of those colorful eyeshadows which we generally shy away from on an everyday basis.

Here is the list of products used followed by a step by step picture tutorial to get the look.

Products Used:
  • Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Dark (for under eye)
  • Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation in #24 Beige Ambre
  • MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC 42 to hide blemishes
  • MAC Bronzer in Refined Golden
  • MAC Powder blush in Dollymix
  • MAC Cream Color Base in Hush
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • Colorbar eyepencil in Jaded Green
  • Chambor eyepencil - bronze shade (don't know the actual shade name, got faded)
  • MAC eyeshadows: Swimming, Tempting, Carbonised, Brule
  • L'oreal liquid liner Brun
  • Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara (water proof)
  • Inglot water proof black eye pencil
  • MAC Cleal Brow Gel
  • Dior Addict lipstick in Dior Kiss
  • MAC Lipglass in Pink Poodle
Step by Step tutorial:
  • Step 1: Started with priming your lids with Urban Decay Primer Potion
  • Step 2: Applied Colorbar Jaded Green eyepencil near the lash line and blended it

  • Step 3: Apply MAC Tempting eyeshadow in the crease
  • Step 4: Apply MAC Swimming eyeshadow on the lids
  • Step 5: Darken the outer corner using MAC Carbonized eyesadow
  • Step 6: Trace the Tempting eyeshadow under the lower lash line and darken the outer corner with Carbonized

  • Step 7: Apply the bronze eye pencil in the water line and a black liner in the upper water line
  • Step 8: Finish off the look using a brown eye liner on your upper lash line and couple of coats of black mascara and tame your brows using a brow gel. To make it more vibrant and bright, you can use a green eye liner instead of brown.

Here are some more pictures of the look:

I hope you like the look and found the post useful. Let me know how you make your colorful shadows work?

Have a lovely week ahead.
