Glamorous glittering bronze eyes and red lips look for an evening wedding party - A look from my recent vacation!

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy and healthy.

As promised, here is the first look from one of the looks I did during my recent vacation to a cousin's wedding. This look is very classy and glamorous and is a typical Indian Bridal kinds.

Actually I did this look on my sister-in-law for the reception party followed by overnight wedding. She told me two requirements for her make-up: 1. glammed up but not over done at the same time and 2. wanted her make-up to last longer, through the overnight wedding, especially her lipstick.

My sister-in-law has much leaner face than I have and her face is longer, she has naturally gifted flawless skin (her skin is combination to dry) and naturally accentuated cheek bones. But, there were couple of common things as we both have really dark brown eyes, so, this look is suiting me well too and both of us have exact same complexion, so I could use my foundation shades on her :D

She wore an extremely pretty cream and red lehenga with gold embroidery. I feel this look complimented here dress.

This look is very versatile and can be worn not just for a wedding party but for a night out with friends or a candle dinner with special someone. This look will steal the show for you!

So, lets see how I created this look, with exact same products.

Products used:
Face (with explanations of some product):
  • Chanel Hydrabeauty Sérum to provide intense hydration as she was experiencing dryness on her entire face. (I had a sample of this)
  • Chanel Hydrabeauty Gel Cream
  • Chanel Base Lumière - Illuminating Makeup Base (For a luminous look and extending wear time of  make-up)
  • Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Dark (She also had similar dark circles as mine)
  • Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Stromboli
  • Nars Bronzer in Laguna
  • MAC Powder blush in Ambering Rose
  • Dior Highlighting Powder Amber Diamond

Lips:
  • MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Kiss Me Quick (for extended wear time for her lipstick)
  • MAC Lipstick in Diva
  • Chanel Glossimer in Myriade (dotted on the center of lips)
Here is the step by step tutorial of the look:
  • Step 1: Fill in tame your brows. I have used MAC Brun for filling my brows and MAC Clear Brow Gel to set them in place
  • Step 1: Start by priming your lids with MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
  • Step 3: Apply Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Bourbon on the upper and lower lash line as shown below:

  • Step 4: Smudge the liner and create a soft outer V

  • Step 5: Apply MAC eyeshadow in Bronze in the outer V and blend it well using MAC Wedge eyeshadow

  • Step 6: Apply MAC Amber Lights lightly on the entire lid

  • Step 7: Apply MAC Bronze eyeshadow through the lower lash line till the outer half, then trace amber lights through the center of the lower lid and Vanila pigment through the inner third of the lower lash line. Also, apply Vanila pigment in the tear duct and blend it upwards towards the crease.
  • Step 8: Apply Urban Decay Bourbon through the lower water line and Urban Decay Zero through the upper water line for creating a nice base for your lashes.

  • Step 9: Apply MAC Pigment in Reflects Bronze on the center of the lid.
  • Step 10: Apply good two - three coats of black mascara
