Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in 'Heartbreaker' - Review, Pictures and Swatches

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are doing well and are happy and healthy.

My love for bright and bold lipsticks continues... This was such a beautiful shade, which I swatched with my other Rimmel London lipstick (Reviewed here), that immediately I had to have it, and that too at a dirt cheap price tag.

The shade is a beautiful bright rosey  fuchsia pink, if that make sense. It doesn't really have very strong blue or warm undertones so, it will suit a a wide range of skintones and shades. Its a beautiful BRIGHT PINK shade.

Unlike my other Rimmel London lipstick this lipstick is more of MAC's amplified cream finish types and the little bit of shine which this lipstick has stays for 2-3 hours. It dries a little bit after sometime but the stain is still there with the same intensity of shade. The stain was there for good 6-7 hours, after which it started fading and got faded completely after 9 hours. I noticed a little bit of bleeding with this lipstick when worn with a lipgloss, which I haven't noticed with any of my lipsticks so far, whether worn with gloss or not. It bleeds in the fine lines around my lips. I avoided this to some extent by using a lip pencil, but the bleeding was still there. Lip pencil only delayed the bleeding.

It's pigmentation and color pay-off is just awesome. With just a single swipe you get the full intensity of the shade as it is in the tube.

Okay, now this beauty dug a very tiny hole in my pocket (no hole actually). Yep, its only of Rs. 215/-. Dirt cheap, isn't it?

It comes in a plastic dark brownish wine kinda tube, which, to me is not appealing at all. In fact it looks cheap! But, for the price and product, packaging is not be a criteria for me to chose or leave a product and I am sure it is not for yo as well!

It has a sweet vanilla scent, which, to my sensitive nose is not a problem at. This could be an issue with some you, though.

Overall, its not an 'Heartbreaker' but a 'Winner'. It won my heart, except for the bleeding part with gloss. Doesn't matter, but, alone also it no as drying as my other Rimmel lipstick.

So lovelies, here is the heartbreaker lipstick :

Guerlain Parur Aqua Radiant Feel - Good Foundation: Review!

Hello Everyone

Hope you all are doing well and are happy and healthy.

The precious foundation with fresh, feel good texture

Moisturising - Mineral Enriched - SPF 20 PA+++ This foundation not only brings out the complexion’s natural radiance, it also pampers the skin, gently hydrating it. Every time you apply it, it feels like a fluid droplet of freshness melting onto the face, a delicate veil that disperses to leave the skin feeling soft, smooth and fresh like a plump ripe fruit. Fresh and fluid, it glides over the skin, delicate, supple, silky and imperceptible. The “barely there” finish is so perfect that you feel like you are not wearing make-up at all. Nothing remains but a dazzling radiance. Available in 9 shades.

This foundation, I tell you, is a pure luxury. The skin feels so good after applying this foundation. Very true to what it claims. Neither matte nor luminous or dewy, just a naturally glowing skin. It didn't break me out at all, so, thats an absolute plus for my acne prone sensitive and oily skin. It started getting oily after 6 hours or so, which, I think is great.

I got medium to builable coverage with this foundation. I take a quarter of a pea size blob and dot it on my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin and buff it into the skin using my Sigma F80 or F82 brush. I layer a very tini tiny amount wherever I need extra coverage. This gives me almost full coverage.

The foundation also has SPF 20 PA +++, which to me is not a criteria, as I always use sunscreen underneath. This foundation has mild to strong floral fragrance, which, could be an issue to some of you. Fragrance is not at all an issue with my sensitive nose.

I was surprised that how well this foundation photographs in flash, despite having SPF in it. I have taken most of the pictures with the flash on and it didn't leave white cast on my face.

It comes in 9 different shades, which, I guess is too less a range. You might find it difficult to get the right shade. The SA matched me with #23 Dore' Naturel, which, I feel is slightly darker for my skin tone.

Left: Swatch of #23 Dore' Naturel ; Right: Foundation blended

Packaging: I really love it's packaging. As you can see in the pictures, it's translucent golden bottle with Guerlain signature on the cap and a black colored plastic pump dispenser.

Price: in India its available at INR 3064/- for 30 ml, which is very expensive compared to many other foundations there in the market. But, it is what it claims and worth every penny.

You can see me wearing this foundation in my previous posts:  here, here and here, to give you all an idea, how it looks on me.

Overall, this is a great foundation for a naturally glowing skin. Expensive, but worth it.

I hope you found the review helpful.

Love
