Hope you all are having a great week.
Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating lipstick in Organdi Rose seem to be an old woman's shade and looks boring in the tube, but, once applied it's neither just an old woman's shade nor that boring for youngsters to have in their collection of lipsticks.
Organdi Rose is a soft Rosewood Pink shade with very fine gold frost which gives it a matured look. The shade is very wearable and can be worn across the skintones and through out the year. It may look paler on beauties of darker skin. Beauties with fair to medium skin color can flaunt this luxury from Chanel with utmost ease. The shade is great for work, day time simple looks or with darker smoldering dramatic eyes.
It's staying power is decent for a lighter shade. It stays put for 4-5 hours without fading on me. The finish of these lipsticks is similar to satin finish of MAC lipsticks. It hydrates my lips well and I don't feel the need to apply a balm for 3-4 hours. Although, during the winter's I have to use a lipgloss compulsorily or moisturize the lips really well before applying the lipstick, otherwise my lips start feeling dry after 2-3 hours.
Chanel lipsticks comes with a heavy price tag. Rouge Coco hydrating lipsticks come with a price tag of approx. INR 2000/- against MAC lipsticks at approx. INR 1000/-. Have it in your collection if you have budget for a 2K lipstick. This particular shade is not a must have but a great piece in collection.
Overall, its a nice shade I am addict of Chanel's Rouge Coco Hydrating lipsticks and I like indulging in luxury once in while, although the shade Organdi Rose is not a must have types.
Here are the pictures and swatches of the lipstick and how is looks on my NC 40ish skintone:
