Sexy Sultry Golden/ Bronze/ Black make-up look

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are happy & healthy.

Here is a sexy eye makeup look with some metallic gold, gold glitter, bronze and black paired with bright neon pink lipstick. You can mute this down by using a lighter shade or a nude lipstick, but for me it's holiday season baby. I wanted to do a tutorial for this look but then I just missed taking pictures in between, however, I would still write the steps to create this look.

Products Used:
Face:
  • Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Dark
  • MAC Select Cover up concealer in NC43
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NC40
  • MAC MSF Natural in Medium-Dark
  • MAC Powder blush in Pinch o'peach
  • MAC Powder blush in Gingerly to contour

Eyes:
  • Start with priming your lids with MAC Painterly paint pot.
  • Create a really dark Outer V using any matte black eyeshadow. I have used Urban Decay Creep (Naked Palette).
  • Start blending the Outer V. Now, here you would need two brown shadows - a darker one (MAC Espresso) to blend out the black shade and a lighter brown (MAC Cork) to blend the darker brown.
    • Start with the darker brown shade & blend out the harsh edges of black and bring it in up to 2/3rd of the crease.
    • Take the lighter brown shade and blend out all the harsh edges to get a smooth outer V.
  • Take a color close to or a shade lighter to your skin tone and highlight the brows. I have used MAC Brule
  • Take MAC Woodwinked and apply it on the outer half of the lid.
  • Take MUFE Metal Powder #1 and apply it in the inner half of the lid and blend well with Woodwinked. Apply the same Metal Powder in the inner third of the lower lash line.
  • Take MAC Reflects Gold Pigment and put it one in the inner third of the lid.
  • Apply black eyeliner pencil (Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Zero) on the water lines and outer 2/3rd of the lower lashline. Smudge and soften it slightly using MAC Espresso.
  • Apply black gel liner on upper lash line and wing it slightly. (MAC Blacktrack Fluidline)
  • Apply black mascara (MUFE Smokey lash) on upper & lower lashes.
Lips:
  • MUFE Rouge Artist Intense lipstick #37
  • L'oreal glam shine lipgloss in Keep the Sweet #112
Here are some more close-up pictures of the eyes.

Hope you all liked the look (I know a picture tutorial could have been better).

Lots of love and happy holidays!

Moon Light Smokey eyes - Tutorial

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are having a great Sunday.

I got this eyeshadow duo from Lancôme Ombre Absolute Duo in Moon Light a few days back and did this look which is quite appropriate for this festive season. The duo has two shades, light blue with silvery shimmer and a matte navy blue shade. The quality of the eyeshadows is awesome, they are buttery smooth, easy to blend and awesome color pay-off. It costed me around INR 2000/-. It is very expensive, but a great piece to have, especially the lighter blue is gorgeous.

Here is the step wise tutorial with list of products used to create this look:

Products Used:
Face:
  • Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Dark
  • MAC Select Cover up concealer to hide blemishes
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation in NC40
  • MAC MSF Natural in Medium - Dark
  • Estée Lauder Bronze Godded Soleil Bronzer
  • Faces Diamond Shine Mineral Blush #03
  • Dior Powder Shimmer in Amber Diamond
Eyes: Picture Tutorial with products used
  • Step 1: Prime your lids with your favorite primer. I have used UD Primer Potion
  • Step 2: Apply a blue base of any sort. I have used Estée Lauder Stay Place cream eye-liner in Stay Midnight.
  • Step 3: Apply the lighter shade in the duo in the inner third of the lid.
  • Step 4: Apply the darker shade on rest of the lid.
  • Step 5: Apply MAC Typographic (dark grey/ black) e/s in the Outer V and blend out all the harsh edges. Also, trace the same dark blue from the Duo up to the lower lash line and draken the outer part of lower lash line by Typographic and apply MAC Shrrom e/s as brow hightlight.

  • Step 6: Apply black eyeliner on the upper lash line(MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack) and Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Zero on water lines.
  • Step 7: Finish off the eyes with a black mascara( MUFE Smokey Lash Mascara in Black).

Christmas Party Look featuring Red Lips!

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Sunday.

My hubs travelling so got a lot of time playing with make-up, did some shopping and gifted myself Russian Red lipstick ( as compensation for spending weekend alone ;-) ), which has got rave reviews across the world. Red lips are so much in these days that I could not stop myself from buying this beauty. It's a beautiful matte true red shade.

I created this look featuring MAC Russian Red lipstick which would be good for any party, but, what would be better than the Christmas Party to sport red lips. Some of you may want to wear red lipstick with no/ minimum eye make-up, that's completely up to you. But, I feel that some neutral eye-makeup make the look complete, otherwise to me, it looks like lips screaming look at me look at me.

Products Used:
Face:
  • Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Dark
  • MAC Select Cover up concealer in NC43 to hide blemishes
  • MAC Studio Fix Fluid (NC40) for coverage + Nars Sheer Glow (Stromboli) for dewy finish.
  • Dior Skin Nude powder #40 Honey Beige
  • MAC Mineralized blush in Warm Soul
Eyes:
  • MAC Paint pot in Painterly as base
  • MAC Paint pot in Constructivist all over the lid leaving inner third of the lid
  • MAC Naked pigment on the inner third of the lid
  • MAC Gold Stroke pigment on the Constructivist Paint Pot
  • MAC Handwritten in the outer V and smudged under the lower lashline
  • MAC Coppering on the browbone/ crease
  • MAC Shroom to highlighter
  • Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Zero
  • MAC Fluidline in Black Track
  • MUFE Smokey Lash Mascara
Lips:
  • MAC Russian Red lipstick

Here are some more pictures and some close-up pics of eyes:

Hope you all like the look and Russian Red on me, please let me know.
