I am back with a haul post!!

Hello Everyone

I hope you are all healthy and happy.

First of all I am extremely sorry for not being in action for last 2 weeks. I had so many guests at home and then I had to travel for almost a week and I was in an absolute spin. Between all this running around one great thing that has happened to me is that I have purchased my own house and I will soon be shifting their. It feels like heaven to own your own apartment and when it's your first home it's always special. I am now busy doing interiors, not the entire thing at one stretch but bare minimum to make it livable.

So, here I am with a haul post. I had an aunt visiting me from US last week and I requested her to do some shopping for me and bought some Urban Decay & NYX goodies. Also, I purchased an Estee Lauder Double Wear Creme eyeshadow from it's store in Mumbai. So lovelies, if you want to know more about these products read on :)

I was wishing for UD 24/7 eyeliner pencils in different colours for a long time now. So, I thought of buying UD 24/7 JACKPOT, which has 9 coloured pencils of travel size, ranging from gold, browns, blues, green, purples and greys & a one full size pencil in 'zero'. So, in all 10 pencils which I guess is a good bargain for a price tag of USD 39 and also I didn't have to pay shipping charges :D :D

I need not mention here that UD pencils last long & do not smudge the whole day. Super creamy and smooth to apply.

L to R: Eldorado, Whisky, Stash, Mildew, Ransom, Binge, Rockstar, Gunmetal,Zero

The other product which my aunt shopped for me are NYX Jumbo Eyepencils. Shades which I bought are Gold which is not a 24 carat pure gold but peachy-bronzy gold, Pots and Pans is a silver colour, Iced Mocha taupish-bronze and Lavender is frosty lavender. They are all very pretty shades and are very pigmented, smooth on application, but they crease. They creased even after applying UD primer potion as base in 3-4 hours. Probably during summers this is an absolute no no for girls with oily lids. But the colours are really pretty and when used as base the eyeshadow colours pop. The pencils costed around USD 3.99 each, which is very cheap. The entire purchase from US costed me around INR 2000 @ forex rate of INR 45 for a USD.

Another product which I purchased recently is Estee Lauder's Double Wear Creme Eyeshadow in Precious Jade. It's a pretty olivish/ jade colour with golden sheen to it. It goes on very smoothly and doesn't crease at all for around 7-8 hours w/o base. It is such a pretty colour that it can be worn on it's own or as base. It looks very beautiful with MAC's Sumptuous Olive. It comes in a nice glass jar with a golden screw top cover. It's a pricey product and costed me INR 1450 but it is worth the price. I haven't worn it for more than 7 hours at a stretch and it didn't fade or crease. I am in love with this product.

I am extremely excited about the products and enjoying using them. I hope it was helpful to some of you and hope you will go and try some of these products. Which one are you going to try??

I had started Adorable Summer Colours series before I vanished for 2 weeks, which I am going to continue with some bold looks. So, hold on for some more fun, till then ... xoxo

Adorable Summer Colors Series – Coral - EOTD/ FOTD

Hello Everyone,

Summers are here in full swing. Corals, greens, brown/ bronze and teals are always adored during summer months. So, I thought to do a series of posts using most worn & adored summer colours. Today I picked the coral shade for the first post on Adorable Summer Colours series.

The coral shade that I have picked up for the very first post of the series is Paradisco from MAC, which is a lovely pinky-coral colour with golden sheen which is not at all over the top. Don't get scared by the pictures, it's color intensity is sheer to buildable. When used over Coral Crepe PP it looks even more vibrant. It can be paired with a lot of shades like Sable, Bronze, Cranberry, Star Violet, Hepcat, Swiss Chocolate, Mulch, Espresso and many more. The color is so versatile that it can be worn as blush by fair skin beauties and as cheekbone highlighter by darker skin beauties.

Products used:
Face:
Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Tan
MAC Studio Fix Fluid liquid foundation in NC 40
Shiseido Dual Balancing liquid foundation in O60
MAC MSF in Medium Dark
MAC Style blush
L’oreal Glam Bronze in Brunette Beauty

Eyes:
MAC PP in Painterly (all over base)
MAC PP in Coral Crepe (lid)
MAC Paradisco (Over the Coral Crepe PP)
MAC Soft Brown (crease & to blend Paradisco)
MAC Folie (Outer V & outer third of crease and smudged over brown liner under the lower lash line)
MAC Naked Lunch to highlight
MAC Graphblack (upper & lower water line)
MAC Fluidline in Black Track (upper lash line)

MAC Zoom Lash mascara in Zoom Black (upper & lower lashes)

Lips:

I know that it’s an overdose of corals, but I somehow love this pairing, however you can chose your favorite shades for cheeks/ lips. Also, you don’t to have to have the eyeshadows I used. You can re-create the looks with whatever you have.

I hope you enjoy Adorable Summer Color Series and I would appreciate your views/ recommendations/ suggestions for the looks and on the series.

Thank you for stopping by.

Peach & Brown EOTD/ FOTD

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend.

I love pigments by MAC because they have great color pay-off, they blend easily and yes, tricky to apply because they may be messy at times because of fallout. Over the weekend I experimented with my favourite pigment Jardin Aires by MAC and the look that I came up with is this peachy-brown look. This pigment is discontinued but is available on Ebay. I saw a lot of make-up gurus on YouTube using this pigment and liked it so much that I ended up buying from Ebay and it costed me around INR 1700 for 7 gms tub, which is huge and will last me forever. (I know it's pricier than the regular one, but for the quantity which is greater than the regular 4 gms tub & my desire to have it - I am trying to justify the over priced purchase :D :P)

It’s a shimmery peach shade with golden sheen. I paired this shimmery peach shade with browns with a pop of bright peachy-pink lips to create a this look.
