Hope you are happy and healthy.
Make Up Forever Star Powder is a silky powder that catches light and gives the skin an intense sparkle unparalleled shine. They come in 35 different shades ranging from nudes to greens, plums, golds, pinks, etc.
It comes a plastic transparent jar with sifter and black screw lid which has a transparent. The sifter makes it much easier to handle and the transparent top makes it easier to find the product and you don't have to dig a lot in your stash to get 'that' jar.
In terms of quantity, it's much lesser than MAC Pigments which is 4 gms but the price is also much lesser than the MAC pigments. MUFE Star powder costs INR 970/- whereas MAC pigments cost INR 1300/-.
Coming to Star Powder # 974 (Taupe), launched with the Art of Nude Collection, is a cool toned taupe shade with very subtle silvery sheen to it. The shade is described in the website but on the jar there's only reference number. It's a great everyday shade but can also be used for more intense looks when paired with darker eye-shadows. It's a great neutral shade from MUFE to have in your kity.
It's color payoff is great and it looks exactly the same on my lids as it looks in the jar. Staying power is a big plus and doesn't fade or crease for good 5-6 hours with primer underneath.
In India MUFE is only available in Inorbit Mall, Mumbai. Else, if you are shopping online, limited MUFE products are also available on www.strawberrynet.com.
Overall, I really Star Powders are stars to me and I will definitively buy more shades. This particular shade I will recommend to those who like neutrals.
Here are some pictures, swatches and a simple look with MUFE Star Powder # 974:
I am wearing MAC See Sheer lipstick and MAC Lychee Luxe Lipglass. Doesn't it look gorgeous? I really loved the LS/ LG combo.
Hope the review was helpful and the Star Powder.
Have great week ahead.
