One blush for Fall - MAC Mineralized Blush in "Love Thing"

Hey Guys,

Another MAC Mineralized blush in my kitty is Love Thing which is a lovely raspberry-burgundy shade with gold shimmer. The shimmer is very subtle and doesn't make one look like a disco ball. This is one great blush for the Fall and Winter.

It gives a nice reddish flush to cheeks and the gold shimmer make cheeks glow. This blush is great for the festive season ahead, perfect for Indian Wedding Make-up looks, etc. Definitely a blush for festivals and not for everyday.

Very nicely pigmented, and it's easy for anyone to overdo. I use a duo-fiber stippling brush, swirl it in the pan, tap off the access on the back of my hands and then apply on the cheeks. It does stay on for a long time like 6-7 hours and doesn't really fade.

I do recommend to get this blush, if you like playing around with colors and are not scared of bright shades. This is definitely not weak hearted ones!

Here some pictures of the beauty:

Hope you all like this blush. Let me know if you like this blush on me?

  • MUFE Uplight Face Illuminator # 22

Step 1: Prime you eyes with your favourite primer, I used Painterly Paint Pot

Step 2: Apply MAC Cranberry e/s in the inner half of the lid, as shown below:

Step 3: Apply MAC Bronze e/s on the outer half of the lid, as shown below:

Step 4: Take a little bit of Bronze e/s on a blending brush, and apply in the crease and blend the harsh edges.

Step 5: Highlight under the brow bone using MAC Naked Lunch , also apply same e/s in the tear duct of your eyes. Using MAC Sketch in the outer V, as shown below:

Step 6: Trace a gold eye liner pencil, I have used UD 24/7 Eldorado and smudge it using a gold eyeshadow, I have used Estee Lauder Pure Color e/s in Gold.

Step 6: Finish off the look with eyeliner on the upper & water lines, Mascara & black eye-liner on the upper lash line.

Step 7 (optional): This is the fun part of the eye make-up. Apply MAC Glitter in Reflects Pearl on the middle of the lid. (I am sorry that the glitter is not really visible in the picture, but believe me it does and gives a pop to the entire eyes)

Revlon Color Burst Lipgloss in Rose Gold.

Here are some more pictures of the finished look.

I hope you all liked this look. I think this a very wearable look and will be great for night outs and parties.

Guys, do let me know your views on this look (both positive & negative) so that I can improve upon in future.

MAC Mineralized blush "Gentle" - Pictures, Swatches, Review & FOTD

Hey Guys

MAC Mineralized blush in 'Gentle' is a Raspberry-mauvish-pink shade with golden pearl shimmer, which is not at all OTT but gives a nice rosey sheen/ glow to cheeks. Color pay-off and pigmentation is just awesome. But, be careful! You can easily overdo and look like a clown. I use duo fiber stippling brush, swirl it in the blush, tap off the access on the back of your hand and then apply on your cheeks. This is one shade which can be worn by any one, age & color no bar!

Below are some pictures, swatches & me wearing this blush:

Hope you all are having a great weekend and happy Sunday!

Fall inspired make-up - Neutral eyes with bright berry lips - Picture Tutorial

Hey Guys,

It's fall season across the world, though monsoon doesn't seem to have gotten over in Mumbai yet!

Fall means a lot of warm & bright vivid colors like yellow, gold, orange, red, berry, green, etc. There could be a lot of Fall Season make-up trends, but the one that is always in trend is bright berry-red lips with neutral eye make-up.

I will try and post some more Fall inspired make-up looks. If you have anything specific in mind then do let me know, I will try to create it!

Here is my take on one of Fall inspired make-up. Hope you all like it!

Below is the step wise tutorial with list of products used:

Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer in Dark
Shiseido's Dual balancing foundation # O60
MAC Blot powder in Medium-Dark
Shiseido's blush in Innocent Rose

The palette that I used to create the eyes is Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Eyeshadow! Eyeshadows used are encircled & numbered.

Step 1:

Prime your eyes using you favurite primer. I have used Painterly PP.

Step 2:

Trace any creamy black eye-liner pencil along the upper & lower lash-line as shown below:

Step 3:

Smudge the eye-liner using e/s # 1 and create 'V' shape, as shown below:

Step 4:

Apply e/s # 2 all over the lid. Blend the lid and outer shade using e/s # 4 and apply e/s # 4 as brow highlighter.

Step 5: Tightline using black eye-liner pencil and finish the eye make-up using your favorite mascara.

Step 6: Apply MAC's reflects gold all over your lid. Wet your flat stiff shader brush and dip it into the glitter. Press the brush on the lid of the container, so that the glitter stays put in the brush and there is minimal fallout. This and optional step, if you don't like glitter, but this is my favorite part of the eye-makeup.

Revlon CB lipstick in Raspberry

What are your favorite fall colors and make-up do share with me in the comments below.

Hope you are having a great weekend!
